The Reef Octopus Classic 90-HOB Protein Skimmer is a totally different strategy to HOB skimmers as it has a cylindrical main body and is in a position to filtering aquariums as much as 130 gallons. The Classic 90-HOB intake device skims the top of the water surface putting off the ugly oil buildup and organics from the water surface that would another way accumulate and hinder light penetration. A cylindrical reaction chamber, the bubble chamber and conical body to neck transition all assist manage the air gently and reduce turbulence-providing stable filtration performance. Easiest of all, the Classic 90HOB is so easy to be set up and easier to operate.
